去墨尔本 Arriving in Melbourne

今天启程前往墨尔本。
早上七点半，我们开车去机场，还车的过程一波三折，绕了几圈才找到正确的地点。顺利交车时，因为没加满油，被多收了28澳元。

Today we set off for Melbourne.
At 7:30 in the morning, we drove to the airport, but returning the car turned out to be a bit of an ordeal — we circled several times before finding the right place and decided not to bother finding a gas station. When we finally handed it over, we were charged an extra 28 AUD for not refueling the tank 😂

悉尼机场的自助系统令人印象深刻——从值机到托运，全程无须人工，方便快捷。距离登机还有一小时，我们随口问了下贵宾室，没想到居然能使用，贵宾室里还有免费的早餐，算是意外的惊喜。

The self-service system at Sydney Airport was impressive — from check-in to baggage drop, everything was fully automated, quick, and convenient. With an hour left before boarding, we casually asked about the lounge and were pleasantly surprised to find we could use it. Inside, there was even a free breakfast — an unexpected surprise.

一个多小时的航程后，飞机平稳降落在墨尔本。这里的Uber管理方式很特别——乘客需要先在App里预约，系统会给出一个六位数的密码，到指定的队伍排队。车陆陆续续地出现，由机场工作人员管理秩序，告诉排队的人去用哪辆车，像是在打出租车。上车后把密码告诉司机，他才能看到目的地。第一次见到这样的流程，我们的司机喜欢这样的高效有序。

After a little over an hour in the air, the plane landed smoothly in Melbourne. The way Uber is managed here is quite different — passengers must first book through the app, which then provides a six-digit code. At the airport, you line up in a designated queue, and the staff directs passengers to the next available car, almost like a taxi stand. Once inside, you show the driver your code which then associates your ride to this driver. It was our first time seeing such a system, and our driver said he liked how efficient and orderly it was.

下午一点多到达民宿，简单安顿后，我们在附近散步。墨尔本的街区有着很多狭窄的小巷，每条巷子都像有自己的性格——咖啡馆、餐厅、街头画、乐声交织出一股自在的气息。

We arrived at our Airbnb about one in the afternoon and after settling in briefly, we went for a walk nearby. Melbourne’s neighborhoods are full of narrow laneways, each with its own personality — cafés, restaurants, street art, and music blending together to create an easy, relaxed vibe.

晚餐在一条叫哈德威尔巷的小街上解决。我们选了巷子里一家名为磨坊餐厅的地方，坐在巷子里，看行人来来往往，对面餐厅的歌手在唱灵魂乐，伴着初夏夜风和意料之外的小雨，墨尔本的夜色逐渐落下。

Dinner was on one of the alleys called Hardware Lane. We chose a place there called The Mill Restaurant and sat outside along the laneway, watching people pass by. Across the way, a singer was performing soul music, and with the early summer breeze and an unexpected light rain, night gradually fell over Melbourne.
